RoomBreak: Flight Now!! By Gambling
RoomBreak: Flight Now!! It’s a hefty iPhone / iPod / iPad escape room game. It consists of 5 series, each with 5 spaces, adding up to 25 difficult spaces to escape. And Gameday promises a sixth episode coming soon. Do you want to learn more? Visit escape room Boise
For the genre, RoomBreak is pretty challenging game. One might even say it is a gritty game. What makes it different from others, is that each room has an exhaust metre. If you’re the sort of person who loves relaxing and taking your time exploring a space and solving the puzzles, it could be a very frustrating game. You’ll probably have to replay most of the rooms at least once before finishing them, since it’s too hard to discover it before the timer runs out. Some mini-games are also involved, which get increasingly harder as you advance. The two games refer to the hammer and the knife. Using the knife would enable you to watch over the screen as a series of slices flash. You then have to copy them in the correct order to get the knife to work. Perhaps more difficult is the hammer, as it allows you to tap on circles when tiny yellow rings appear on them. It’s sort of like Simon, the old-school game. In the 4th episode it gets pretty complicated, and can be extremely frustrating to complete. But if you’re someone who enjoys, or can tolerate, these kinds of challenges, you ‘re in for quite an experience.
It’s safe to say a lot of love has gone into making this game. The 2D graphics resemble a graphic novel, all superbly well made. Also the music is well performed, with plenty of variation from room to space. The puzzles are difficult, and at times you’ll get stumped. But that means you are not going to finish the game in a single day. Gameplay appreciated for hours here.
If you have any problems here are a few tips:
- Write down the arrows path to the knife tool so you don’t forget them. You can try as many tines as you want, and when you have a puzzle open, the exhaust metre isn’t affected.
- You have to press-circle for the hammer, when the yellow ring reaches it. The game is really unforgiving so you’ve got to be careful. I do not suggest playing in Episodes 4 and 5 when you’re half asleep, as the puzzle becomes very complex. Again, like the knife, you can keep trying without having to think about the exhaust metre, until you get it.
